The DeKalb County High School Tiger soccer team lost a non-district match to Murfreesboro Oakland, Monday evening in Smithville. The Class AAA club broke a 1-1 tie at intermission, and edged out a 3-2 victory over the Tigers.
Ryan Leiser and Brandon Puckett each scored a goal for the Tigers, who were playing their second Class AAA opponent of the young season. DeKalb County will face their third triple-A foe of the season, this Friday, when they travel to Warren County. The match will get underway at 6:30 p.m.
The Tigers, now 2-3 on the soccer season, will return home to face Smith County in a district clash, next Tuesday night, April 1st, at 6:30 p.m.
