The DeKalb County High School golf teams opened their season on Thursday at the Rutherford Open in Murfreesboro.
The Tiger golf team shot a 330 and finished seventh out of eleven teams at the event. Individually for the Tigers, Grant Goodwin shot a 75, Austin Garrett tallied an 84, Grant James posted an 85, while Tyler Robinson shot an 86.
The Lady Tigers, meanwhile, combined for a team score of 187, and finished fourth out of 16 teams. Individually for the girls, Shay Sullivan shot an 82, while Cynthia Woodward shot a 100.
