The DCHS boys golf team claimed the District Tournament Championship Wednesday at the Cookeville Golf Club. That's the seventh tournament title in a row for the program.
The team scored 298, led by Ethan Roller who shot a 70 and won the gold medal for the lowest individual score. Tevin Owens shot a 74. Corey Kijanski and Zack Martin each scored 77 and Hayden Ervin a 78
Coach Joe Pat Cope said the victory Wednesday capped off the boys undefeated regular season in the district and they knocked off eighteen teams Wednesday in the district tournament. The guys and girls advance to the region tournament Friday at the Cookeville Golf Club.
