77 year old Walter Van Jennings of Statesville, died Thursday morning at University Medical Center in Lebanon. Born in DeKalb County, he was the son of the late Walter Ray Jennings and Maibelle Bethel Jennings and was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Jennings and his wife, Ann. Van was a graduate of Liberty High School and was a retired construction superintendent. Van is survived by his wife, Dorothy Armstrong Jennings; stepdaughter, DiAnne Gaddes and her husband, Floyd of Statesville; sisters, Linda (Roy Dee) Curtis of Watertown and Sarah (Robert) Walker of Alexandria; several nieces and nephews; and special little buddy, Howie. Funeral services 1 p.m. Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with Allen Lyon officiating. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. till service time on Saturday. Pallbearers, David W.
