87 year old Truman Campbell of Liberty died Wednesday at NHC Healthcare Center. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Prosperity Baptist Church. The funeral will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odus Gilmore and Nonnie Hayes Campbell and a son, Odus Clyde Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Fannie Bell Pitts Campbell of Liberty. Three daughters, Joan and husband J.C. Hughes of Auburntown, Joyce and husband Bobby Hendrixson of McMinnville, and Brenda and husband Rick Cantrell of Smithville. Two sons, Raymond and wife Debbie Campbell of Brush Creek and Rex Campbell of Auburntown. Fourteen grandchildren, Cindy and Sam Garrison and Cody and Kayla Hughes all of Auburntown, Jennifer and Jason Brown of Woodbury, Travis Hendrixson and Christopher Fletcher both of Smyrna, Cayla and Chelsey Cantrell, Carrie Hale, and Nelson Hendrixson all of Smithville, Jayne Hendrixson of Sparta, Shane and Rochelle Campbell, Kelli and Kerry Lollar, and Derrick and Amy Campbell all of Brush Creek, and Bryan and Shelley Campbell of Alexandria. Eighteen great grandchildren. One brother, Jack and wife Ann Campbell of Liberty. One sister, Mary and husband Jimmy Clark of Alexandria. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
