81 year old Keeble Maynard Thweatt of Smithville died Tuesday at her residence. She was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church and a retired Smithville shirt factory worker. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Terry Fesler and Mike Carpenter will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. Thweatt was preceded in death by her husband Lelon Thweatt; children, Diana Cantrell and Harold Thweatt; parents, William Arvie and Willie Ann Maynard; brother, Clifton Maynard; and a granddaughter, Wanda Powers. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Sykes of Smithville and Martha and husband Darryl Rowland of Smithville. One son-in-law, Charles Cantrell of Smithville. Nine grandchildren, Glenda and husband Steve Johnson, Scottie Sykes, Phillip and wife Debbie Thweatt, Christie and husband Brian Carter, Chad Rowland, Sonya Dyzban, Tonya Stewart, Becky and husband Kyle Thompson, Todd and wife Jenny Cantrell. Seventeen great grandchildren. Siblings, Gerald and wife Pat Maynard of Nashville, Marshall Maynard of Brush Creek, Sally and husband Troy Jones of Liberty, Barbara and husband Tommy Crague of Nashville, Sybil and husband John Wait of Murfreesboro, Naomi and husband James Malone of Mount Juliet, and Shirley Wright of Nashville.
