81 year old Rubye Margaret Rigsby Cook of Smithville died Monday at her residence. She was a Baptist and a retired inventory clerk with DAB Industries. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther "Dude" and Sallie Pack Rigsby; her husband, Billy J. Cook; and three brothers, Elijah, Elzie, and Grady Rigsby. Survivors include daughter, Vickye and husband Jay Smith of Liberty. One granddaughter, Jayme Smith of Franklin. One grandson, Jason Smith of Murfreesboro. Two brothers, Willie Lee and wife May Rigsby and Jackie and wife Frances Rigsby all of Smithville. One brother-in-law, Jack and wife Matilda Cook of Alexandria. Four sisters-in-law, Jean Cook of Alexandria, Kathryn Cook of Nashville, Carolyn Cook of Hermitage, and Irene Durso of Florida.
