59 year old Mary Katherine Shelton Myatt of Liberty died Thursday at University Medical Center in Lebanon. The funeral will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Liberty United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Michael Hale and Tommy Davis will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. All visitation will be at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Todd, Jr. and Ann Roess Shelton. Survivors include her husband, Roy Myatt of Liberty. A brother, Todd and wife Polly Shelton of Knoxville. Sisters, Patty Dale of Oxford, U.K. and Leslie Shelton of Culleaka. Nieces and nephews, Josh Shelton of Kansas City, Missouri, Kate Shelton of Asheville, North Carolina, Lora Dale Griffiths, Peter Dale, and Alex Dale all of Natchez, Louisiana. Great niece and nephew, Lant and Kris Griffiths. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made to the Liberty Library in memory of Mary, in lieu of flowers.
