First Annual Child Health and Safety Fair

The first annual Child Health and Safety Fair will be held Saturday, May 17th from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Smithville Church of God Gymnasium at 801 West Broad Street. Garrett Insurance Agency and Farmers Insurance Group will provide FREE Amber alert ID cards and fingerprinting of your children. Booths include: Fire Department (with Sparky the mascot), Sheriff's Department, Police Department, Health Department, School Health Coordinator, UT Extention Service, DeKalb Community Hospital, Tennessee Highway Patrol (checking car seat safety), (some car seats available for replacement), Ambulance Service, Air Evac Life Team (helicopter to view), Lion's Club (free eye sight check), Capture It Studios Photography, Goodie bags, door prizes, and kids fun area with face painting.
