The DeKalb County Board of Education met in regular monthly session Thursday night to consider a light agenda.

In his monthly personnel report, Director Patrick Cripps announced that Janet Woodward has been granted a leave of absence and Callie Brown has resigned.
The board also approved a request for Vitality Fit to use the DeKalb Middle School facilities at a date to be announced for a cross fit tournament. Board member Jason Miller said it gives Vitality Fit an opportunity to give back to the schools and for the kids to be involved.
